Global Business and Technology Association (GBATA) was formed by Dr. N. Delener in 1998.
The Board consists of 32 distinguished scholars and executives. The association has 2,000 members
from over forty countries. The Purposes of the Association are to:
Promote research pertaining to business and technology issues facing the global marketplace;
Improve the communication and exchange of information concerning these issues among interested college and university faculty members; and
Facilitate the association of all persons directly or indirectly concerned with these same issues. In addition to the above, other purposes may be included as determined by the Board of Directors.
GBATA features cutting-edge work and encourages multi-disciplinary as well as discipline-specific research.
About 350 participants from over forty countries attend the GBATA annual conferences.
One of the unique aspects of the Global Business and Technology Association is that its annual conferences
have been sponsored by well-known universities and institutions all around the globe.
